I love the colors and trend of succulents all over Pinterest right now. I have almost bought them at Walmart a number of times and am glad I didn't because Hobby Lobby has plastic succulents now! I don't have to worry about replanting them (always in the ugly plastic containers) or over watering them and watching them shrivel up and turn brown!
I let my daughter pick up two that she liked and I picked a third. We went for different sizes and colors. I didn't want to mess with gravel, so I used some white beans from my vase fillers bag of colored beans and filled an old tin container that was holding my daughter's markers.
Super simple and pretty authentic looking!
