Noonday Collection Party and Giveaway!!!

I have been carrying the catalogs in my purse for weeks now and find something new I love each time. Here are my very favorites!

I love the floral belt and yellow and gray Scarf. The belt would be super cute with colored skinny jeans and a white t-shirt. The scarf looks so soft! I would love it with a grey sweater, jeans, and TOMS.

I think I have to own this Tassel bracelet! It is so unique and would be cute with turquoise bracelets stacked with it!  I also love the beaded cuff- I think it would give a great pop of color on a simple outfit.

Noonday has lots of earrings, but these Green and gold earrings and sunset beaded earrings were my favorite! They are such a conversation piece and to imagine women hand beading these in another part of the world! It would be such a prompt for prayer when I wear them.

The Gold Chevron necklace is my other must have! I need a trendy long gold necklace to just throw on and it this will go with everything! I also love the colorful beaded necklace and it is only $32! Hooray for that! 

Noonday also has stuff for the home like this colorful dotted Tea towel and these beautiful salad tongs. I need a good pair of salad tongs for when I entertain and have a big beautiful bowl of greens on the table.

Tuesday is my birthday! I love birthdays- it is a celebration! I don't mind that I am getting older- I know I am right where I want to be in my life. Birthday Present

Today is my 34th birthday! I love celebrating and try to extend the birthday love as long as possible. I used to count down from January 1! I think it comes from sharing my birthday with my sister who is 4 years younger. We both enjoy sharing a birthday more now than as kids. Four years is just a little too far apart to have a joint party. I have one big birthday wish- 100 followers! Can you help? Valentine's Decor

I don't decorate much for Valentine's Day. I think it is because I have just taken down Christmas and my house looks so clean that I don't want to clutter it back up. However, this year was going to be different. I wanted sweet little accessories sprinkled throughout to remind us to love one another. Then, I went to the dentist and discovered he is taking all of my money. Boo!

This cute scarf is likely my only Valentine's purchase this year. I ordered it in light pink. Isn't is precious?

So, enjoy this posting of items I would buy if I wasn't having 2 root canals this week.

Love comes from the Bible and these signs are a great way to remember how He intended for love to be.

Love this personalized tree and "tweet" couple from etsy. My husband actually carved our initials in a tree at a park we visited while in college. Such a romantic :)

Pottery Barn Kids is my favorite place to buy seasonal items- this chair backer would be fun year round for giving your child notes of support, praise and encouragement.

This nesting boxes have just the right combination of colors and vintage appeal! A simple soft heart pillow on my denim sofa would look lovely.

A Christmas Affair 2009 and a Winner!

Saturday morning I met my girlfriends Tabriah and Brandi and Brandi's Mom and Memaw to shop Austin's Junior League Christmas Affair. It is always an exercise in patience (lots of people), restraint (lots of things I want but don't need and lots of food samples), and fun fun fun!It was SUPER packed this year and made me question how bad the economy really is!?!

This year's theme was "A Wild Holiday" and it used zebra stripes, giraffe prints, peacock feathers, moss balls, butterflies and more! I loved the decor this year.

I left with a few items that I really love and checked a couple of things off my list- a personalized plate for Santa's cookies, a hammered silver punch bowl, a cute over-the-top felt flower pen, a great necklace with a vintage timepiece pendant, and more Thanksgiving decor.

We also saw a beautiful, but totally unaffordable picture frame with the following water your eyes quote:
